1 – Rainbows
Tried, tested and relied on for generations, the inclusion of rainbows all over a baby never fail to bring a sense of joy and happiness to this most precious of living spaces. The relatively easy nature of the design also allows the owner to customize and decorate other items of furniture in the baby room, such as wardrobes and storage units.
2 – Sunshine
Similarly to the rainbow idea, the inclusion of sunshine or sunshine related designs across a baby room can bring the warmth and brightness of the outdoor sun indoors, offering a finished article summery enough to warm the hearts of all who enter.
3 – Yellow
Often the color of choice for parents who prefer a little surprise, yellow is the universal color of choice utilized by parents unsure of whether their offspring will be male or female.
The unisex nature of yellow coupled with its natural brightness and warmth make yellow an incredibly safe option to use in any baby room, with the added bonus of easy integration of subsequent furniture.
4 – Blue
Needless to say the most popular of all baby room decorating ideas for families welcoming the arrival of a boy. Traditionally associated with the male gender, blue is often thought to be one of the colder colors. However, select a soft hue of one of the more subtle tones and the color is quite wonderfully warm, not to mention endlessly versatile in the way of additions and modifications.
5 – Pink
Safe to say, the opposite of the color scheme selected for boys but offering exactly the same basic benefits. Both pink and blue can be generally quite dreamlike, childish colors which act as a wonderful canvas with which to experiment with your creative side. So, whether it be stenciling designs on walls, customizing furniture with a personal paint job or integrating colorful and patterned modern shower curtains into your decorative scheme, there are few better colors to start with.
