Dining at a local bistro is provides a unique experience not only for the food but for the furniture. Bistro furniture is very unique and offers a unique play on dining.

For starters, the tables and chairs sit at a raised height which is quite unusual for being at a restaurant. However, when you sit in one for the first time, you will feel like you are floating above the ground a foot or so. This raised orientation isolates you and your friend/guest so that you can converse together in peace.

The table tops on bistro tables are no bigger than an end table. While it is true that you cannot put a whole lot of stuff on top of them, you do not need to. Bistros serve small drinks and treats which do not take up much room. It is not the intent for you to stay at the bistro for more than an hour or so. The table offers just enough room for you to place your drinks and possibly your laptop. Bistro diners are often seen reading the newspaper or working on their laptops while they enjoy their beverage.

Since the tables are so tall, the chairs must be the same. Bistro tables are often armless and can have decorative cutouts along the seat and back which also keep the user cool. Others have wicker wrapped tightly along the back section. Most bistro sets are capable of folding up for storage.

People who really like bistro dining can consider getting a set for their own home. Most models can be used indoors or outside on the patio. Users can select from an abundance of different colors, models and styles that best match their lifestyle. Some people buy multiple bistro sets to create their own bistro in their yard. Looking for standard patio furniture? Select cast iron patio furniture for a low maintenance solution.
