If you have a flat screen television that is sitting inside of a large, bulky entertainment center, it may be time to start thinking about an LCD TV wall mounts that are available. These wall mounts are excellent for helping you free up some of the floor space that is being consumed by the entertainment center, and create an incredibly stylish design at the same time!
Question #1: What Size Television Are You Dealing With? – First you will need to think about the size, and weight of the television that you are going to want to mount. If you have a larger diameter, and heavier television, you will need to plan out the mounting process even further, because it will take more work.
Question #2: When Your Home Was Built, What Materials Were Utilized? – As the contractors were putting your home together, what materials did they use to construct it? If they only used wooden framing and sheet rock to cover the frame, you will have an easier time locating the studs and mounting the television to them than if other, harder materials were used.
Question #3: Which Style Of Mounting Options Do You Want? – When it comes to the different style of mounting options that are available, you can usually choose from articulating wall arms that extend out from the wall, or ceiling hung mounts that drop down an arm from the ceiling. Flush wall mounts are also another popular option.
Question #4: Will You Want The Wires To Disappear Behind The Installation? – Take the time to think about what you are going to do with the wiring for the installation. If you want it to disappear you will need to cut the holes and run the wiring before you mount the television, to make sure that you are able to hide the traces of the installation once it’s completed.
