When mankind discovered fire, it changed the course of history. Fire was discovered by cavemen thousand years ago.
From there, it sparked different ages in humanity’s time. From the stone age where men used woods and stones to make their homes and craft weapons for hunting, to the more advanced technological age where with one touch of a button, everything that you can think of is done in seconds. With our technology getting more advanced each year, it won’t be long now that we can see flying cars hovering above the city streets.
Technology today is fast changing, and so do the people’s taste towards it. Take the earliest gaming console and compare it with today’s standard for example. People 15-20 years ago were amazed of its graphical capabilities. But with people changing and staying in touch with technology, one ought to choose the current rather than the past and still looking forward into the future. People are looking for entertainment these days and that’s what the current gen. of consoles does. The Xbox360, The Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii do what’s best, and that’s to entertain people through gaming and interaction among other people. Luckily in this time these current technologies doesn’t have a high chance in failing, being the Xbox360 has a high failure rate in the past. People doesn’t want their Xbox 360 repaired all the time, that is why programmers, game testers, technicians improve their work overtime to see to it that things are working and running smoothly with error free products as much as possible.
Technology makes our lives convenient. Where would we be now without technology? Indeed this is the era for man to learn and be knowledgeable in different ways. Learn what technology is, and be knowledgeable of what it does so that one can live an easier and a more convenient life in the present and towards the future.
