Baldness can be quite embarrassing, regardless of where and when it appears. People around the world spends millions trying to get their hair to grow back.
But at the other end of the spectrum, unwanted hair can be a challenge. Having hair in the wrong places can be quite a dent on self esteem. Salon treatments are expensive, though, that’s why many people search for solutions for permanent hair removal at home.
For some people, removing excess hair is a daily ritual, but the grooming process can be made a lot easier if the hair can be destroyed once and for all. The first common method is more about control than elimination. Unwanted hair is removed using conventional methods like shaving or plucking. Once the skin is smooth and hair free, fresh growth is suppressed to maintain the hairless look. Growth reduction can be done using pills like Aldactone, Daine35, and Propecia. This medication can’t be accessed over the counter, and you need a doctor’s prescription before anyone will sell it to you. The pills work by reducing the amount of androgen and testosterone in the body. These are the hormones that make your hair grow. These pills are generally only prescribed for those with excessive hair growth.
Another popular method is to use creams. They can be applied on the unwanted hair to keep the skin smooth and shiny. One example is Vaniqa, a cream that is used by women. It is only suitable for use on the face, and it must be applied two times a day. As soon as you stop using the cream, your hair growth will resume at its normal pace, so Vaniqa must be used continuously. It’s a prescription drug, so you need a doctor’s note to obtain it. Like the pills mentioned above, Vaniqa must be combined with other methods of hair removal. It doesn’t really get rid of hair. It simply slows its growth rate, which is why you need to use it twice a day.
The most popular method of permanent home hair removal is electrolysis. You can buy a kit to do it yourself but it is quite tricky to use and you ave to treat each hair individually. You may be better to save up your money for professional treatment as a trained specialist will get rid of your hair more quickly. But if you truly can’t afford that electrolysis machines can be helpful.
